Happy Birthday To ME!

It's Saturday morning, March 6, 2010. We're in a (non-smoking!) taxi headed for the local train station in downtown Iwakuni for my surprise birthday lunch. At this point I didn't yet know where we were going; I know we're going by train. It's raining so we're not riding bicycles to the station today. Besides, it's pretty early in the morning . . .

And going down the stairs to our track. I still hold on to the rail (always afraid the bad knee will give out!) but I move pretty good for an "old lady" of 63, huh?


And on the train. I'm pretty excited - some surprises I like!
