JAPAN ADVENTURE

Welcome to Margie & Stan's Japan Adventure - our photo blog while living on MCAS Iwakuni in beautiful Yamaguchi Prefecture in Western Japan from 8/2004 to present. My photo above is the famous Kintai Bridge right here in Iwakuni. Be sure to check out Blog Archive (below left) for highlights of our travels. And leave us a comment - we'd love to hear from you! Nancy politely agrees to try a bite, but I decline. Look how excited she is! Afterward, she said it was quite chewey . . .

Our chef shows us a large live sea cucumber.

Dinner patiently waits in these tanks as he returns the namako to it's place.

We're being shown the peace sign as we leave, but he's busy drawing a pot of tea for another customer. Everyone gets excellent service in Japan.

Front entry of the restaurant, which is just past the McDonald's on Hwy 188 on the way to Hikari. We usually stop at the McDonald's on our way to the Hikari Flea Market for coffee & a potty stop, but I think this restaurant has become our regular lunch or dinner stop on our way home.
