Wow -- inside this great shop, we found these beautiful little dishes, made from bamboo and laminated with washi paper. The choices were overwhelming!

Walking toward our car on the dark streets, we saw this bank of drink machines all lit up.

About half-way home, we again stopped at Kudamatsu rest area, but the theme was a little different on this side of the Sanyo expressway. This cute "steam train" vehicle was selling sweet snacks on the sidewalk outside.
