Shopping at Vesta 12/20/11

In the prepared foods area of Vesta Supermarket - fried foods ready to take home.

Just help yourself with the tongs and place in plastic containers. These all look so good, but we try not to eat fried foods any more . . . there's also a sushi department.

But my favorite part of shopping is sitting at the bakery, enjoying a fresh-baked treat & coffee. Yum!

This cute little girl's mom took her out of the stroller cart and put her in the chair opposite me, while she paid for her bakery goods on the other side of the partition. She never moved, and slowly her head sank down to her chest. Reminded me of a little bird!

Small individual Christmas cakes with handy carrying strap.

Cute!

Christmas gifts!

Don't want to forget your Christmas beer . . .

Happy Christmas!

Back on base - look Barbara! The old black fence is being replaced by nice white privacy fences in the Monzen area.

Beautiful blue Monzen River.

Later after sushi, I couldn't resist a shot of pretty pink camellias blooming in our parking lot.

We've parked next to neighbor Paul's TINY truck - remember, our car is pretty small!

Gives you an idea . . .

Did you notice the shape of the tailpipe? Yep - it's a heart!!!
