JAPAN ADVENTURE

Welcome to Margie & Stan's Japan Adventure - our photo blog while living on MCAS Iwakuni in beautiful Yamaguchi Prefecture in Western Japan from 8/2004 to present. My photo above is the famous Kintai Bridge right here in Iwakuni. Be sure to check out Blog Archive (below left) for highlights of our travels. And leave us a comment - we'd love to hear from you! Gigantic origami replica of "good luck" crane on display at Peace Boulevard. Regular readers may remember seeing this when we were viewing Christmas lights back in December. We're on the same street today.

Aha! A sign confirms we're actually at the Hiroshima Flower Festival - we were beginning to wonder . . . so - where are all the flowers we came to see?

Stan walking near some tropically-dressed young women - from Okinawa, maybe?

Well, apparently he didn't impress them - they're continuing on . . .

Beautiful hi-rise building in downtown Hiroshima.
