JAPAN ADVENTURE

Welcome to Margie & Stan's Japan Adventure - our photo blog while living on MCAS Iwakuni in beautiful Yamaguchi Prefecture in Western Japan from 8/2004 to present. My photo above is the famous Kintai Bridge right here in Iwakuni. Be sure to check out Blog Archive (below left) for highlights of our travels. And leave us a comment - we'd love to hear from you! Singing in the Rain! Outside Hiroshima Station headed for the streetcar. Since I'm the one who always knows which one to take, Stan has to tell me we're headed for Hiroshima Port. Sue - notice that I'm using my Birmingham News umbrella today. I love it!

That's our streetcar - headed for the port - about a 20-minute ride on the green train, which goes directly there. This means we're boarding in a different location than we usually do to go to the shopping area. It looks pretty steamy inside!

But once inside, it's not very crowded. Everyone got off before we few got on.

Looking down at the tracks outside. The sun is coming out!
