Waiting at the streetcar stop near Tokyu Hands for the next car to take us down to Peace Boulevard. We're on our way to see the famous Christmas lights -- called "illumination."
We got off at the stop about a half-block past Peace Boulevard and walked back. I saw a beautiful stone lantern as we started walking down toward the lights. They go both directions down Peace Boulevard (perpendicular to the streetcar route, so you can't ride - you have to walk) for miles, but we decided to go to the left after we got off the streetcar.
These "dancing lights" on the ground really fascinated children and adults alike. Of course, the picture doesn't do them justice . . .
Huge Christmas tree made of lights!
