Looking from the bedroom across the tatami room & out to our balcony. The tatami room is a step up and you have to take off shoes to walk here. We kept an extra pair of slippers by the balcony door, so we could walk out there.

Christmas Day 12/25/09
Waking up to the sun rising over Miyajima Island and the oyster beds in the Seto Inland Sea.
Looking from the bedroom across the tatami room & out to our balcony. The tatami room is a step up and you have to take off shoes to walk here. We kept an extra pair of slippers by the balcony door, so we could walk out there.
