Japan Adventure

After this, we stopped at a shop for a couple of grilled oysters & the famous Miyajima "maple leaf" cookie, but no pictures . . . sorry. The sun was starting to set & it was getting cooler, so we decided it was time to leave. Here we are waiting on the pier to ride onto the ferry. There are LOTS of people here today . . .

Stan peeks at me, as the front of the ferry lowers so we can drive off. It was a little chilly on the ride back -- the sun has set.


Just a couple of blocks' ride & we're back at our car. Normally in Japan, you back in to parking spaces, but we parked "backwards" to make it easier to get the bikes in & out the back. Guess we'll be forgiven for breaking the rules . . .
