JAPAN ADVENTURE

Welcome to Margie & Stan's Japan Adventure - our photo blog while living on MCAS Iwakuni in beautiful Yamaguchi Prefecture in Western Japan from 8/2004 to present. My photo above is the famous Kintai Bridge right here in Iwakuni. Be sure to check out Blog Archive (below left) for highlights of our travels. And leave us a comment - we'd love to hear from you! These two ladies told us they are housewives, who work PT for Energia giving these classes. In order to have this job, they have to be married and of course, know how to cook . . .

Cleaning the surface with special cleaner. We were surprised when she polished it with aluminum foil! Note that the exhaust fans are built-in with covers and grease bins that are removable and dishwasher-safe for easy cleanup.

Also, the broiler is removable & goes in the dishwasher.

After class, one of the ladies shows off her tai chi skills. She's studied for years . . .
