Sunday Afternoon at Kintai Bridge Park

It's mid-February & we're walking near the Kintai Bridge with Nancy & Eldon. These bare cherry trees will be an explosion of pink blossoms in April, but we're here today to view the plum (ume) trees. They're just as beautiful as cherry trees, but there are not as many of them.

White walls are being repaired & repainted, probably in anticipation of upcoming Cherry Blossom Festival in April. Wow -- what a difference.
