JAPAN ADVENTURE

Welcome to Margie & Stan's Japan Adventure - our photo blog while living on MCAS Iwakuni in beautiful Yamaguchi Prefecture in Western Japan from 8/2004 to present. My photo above is the famous Kintai Bridge right here in Iwakuni. Be sure to check out Blog Archive (below left) for highlights of our travels. And leave us a comment - we'd love to hear from you! Jenny, Russell & Kelly form a "massage totem" but someone's chopsticks are retired for the night. Yuck!

John leads us from the restaurant to karaoke.

Stan seems to have found his long, lost twin . . .

We're settled in our karaoke box & found a great group song! Our room is off a small central hallway, with many doors. Each room is (relatively) sound-proof & about 7x7 ft (6x6 maybe?)with a large TV screen & sound system on one wall & a table in the middle with seating on 3 sides. If anyone has to go to the bathroom, lots of folks have to shift! Read more about Japanese karaoke boxes here: http://www.karaokescene.com/history/

Dancin' Jenny -- and our beer waitress give us a peace sign pose.
