Japan Adventure

On this very cold afternoon, we've wandered into one of our favorite bakeries down by the Kintai that has a lovely coffee shop in the back. We're having a little taste of several desserts with our coffee.

These bamboo planters are filled with blooming flowers although it's the middle of winter here. The artist who makes these (and this street is lined with them) is also the baker of the store we just left.
