Although we paid 2200 Bhat for this tour -- about $66 (and much more than our taxi driver told us it would be!) there was a lady at the pier who demanded a "landing fee" when our boat landed. Stan refused & suggested she call the police. She was angry, but did not want the police involved. It hasn't taken us long to realize that everyone wants our money here. They assume all tourists are rich.
