View of this huge ship at the new dock, from atop the fire tower. Yes, Stan climbed it alone! This cargo ship is too long to get into one picture & it carries it's own loading equipment. Ships like this used to dock at the Iwakuni City Dock & truck stuff to the base. Now, they can unload directly onto the base.
