Spring Break Trip to Beijing, China -- 4 Nights / 5 Days (kinda)

Unfortunately I started publishing them in late April & finished in early May, so they got split into two months. . .

Day 1 -- LEAVING IWAKUNI FOR BEIJING!
It's a civilized hour -- 1o AM on April 8 & we're gathering on base for our bus ride to the Hiroshima Airport. It's spring break & we're excited to be going to Beijing China on a 5-day tour. The group has grown to more than 75, so it's going to be challenging everywhere we go, but we're confident that ITT & Academy Travel have done a super job planning for us. We're a large tour group & it takes 2 buses to carry us & our luggage!


The cherries are blooming as we drive through Iwakuni, but they may be all gone by the time we return at the end of the week.
















On the bus, Pam & Jake listen to one of Stan's (no doubt) delightful & amusing stories . . .
