USS Patriot Docks at MCAS Iwakuni

Wow -- this is cool! A real mine-sweeper that will be here for a few days.
















Notice the metal cap at the top of the rope that keeps the rats off!




















This banner tells us the name of this boat. We were fortunate enough to be invited to board and get a tour! Our guide informed us that the USS Patriot is a Boat -- 5 feet short of being a Ship.
