Now he's added the soy sauce, so you can see the scoring on the squid. We don't know if they grow this way, or they are sliced to facilitate tenderness. I caught this pic just before he grabbed it with his hashi to eat it!

Stan's new favorite -- squid with a little wasabi. We talked to Heather recently and she said how she can't wait to eat real Japanese sushi when she & her family comes at Christmas. She also misses eating wasabi (since she's pregnant) so Stan dedicated each wasabi topping to Heather while he was eating today!
