JAPAN ADVENTURE

Welcome to Margie & Stan's Japan Adventure - our photo blog while living on MCAS Iwakuni in beautiful Yamaguchi Prefecture in Western Japan from 8/2004 to present. My photo above is the famous Kintai Bridge right here in Iwakuni. Be sure to check out Blog Archive (below left) for highlights of our travels. And leave us a comment - we'd love to hear from you! What a fun way to travel around!

Lunchtime at the Zoo!

In the butterfly house.

Everyone can run loose in the petting zoo.

As we were driving through a very nice neighborhood of Nashville, Lisa pointed out Al Gore's driveway.

Once again, we've stopped for ice cream. Andy likes the chocolate-dipped cone with sprinkles.

Chocolate face

Natalie & Amelia patiently await theirs. Look at those sweet faces!

Andy likes his present from Grampa!

Grampa's making Initial and Mickey Mouse Pancakes!

An "A" for Amelia . . .
an "N" for Natalie . . .

and another "A" for Andy.

Off we go again!
Just chillin' in the creek at the State Park.

What's hiding under there?

Oh, it's crawfish (crawdads) and they sure do blend in with the rocks. They look like tiny lobster.

This feels good on a hot day!

On the playground after lunch.

Look how brave I am!

Let's go swimming! While Lisa & I took the girls in the lake, Andy decided to go fishing with Daddy & Grampa.
