JAPAN ADVENTURE

Welcome to Margie & Stan's Japan Adventure - our photo blog while living on MCAS Iwakuni in beautiful Yamaguchi Prefecture in Western Japan from 8/2004 to present. My photo above is the famous Kintai Bridge right here in Iwakuni. Be sure to check out Blog Archive (below left) for highlights of our travels. And leave us a comment - we'd love to hear from you! Blue skies, but clouds building around the mountain. And beautiful countryside fields of green.

Heavy clouds covering mountaintops. Don't think we will see Mt Fuji today. Fuji often "hides."

Pouring rain now!

But we're going so fast, that we run in & out of bad weather very quickly!

Stormy skies again with the front (or back?) of another Shinkansen passing by. The front & back of the trains look exactly the same, so they never have to turn around. Seat backs are automatically reversed at the end of the line so passengers are always facing "front."

"Brief Stop At Nagoya" - another hour or so before our stop at Shin-Yokohama. I LOVE traveling on the Shin! Such a great & relaxing way to travel!

This sign says it's 29 degrees C outside - 84.2 - looks cooler, doesn't it?

Wow! There's the home of the Nagoya Chunichi Dragons! If you're familiar with the movie, "Mr Baseball" with Tom Selleck, that's the team he played for - and it was based on a true story.

And that looks like the dome stadium CLICK HERE FOR MORE INFO!
