Stan's just outside one of the small covered pavilions in the garden. If you actually step inside, you must remove your shoes (as the sign behind Stan indicates.)

We guessed this mechanical method has been used for many hundreds of years & still works just fine.
While we've been walking around the lake to the right, the bridal photo party was walking around the opposite direction, so we've met about half-way around. Yay! Another photo op!
She's got to be VERY warm in her heavy, embroidered silk kimono (with several layers underneath) as well as the heavy hair ornaments, yet she is happy to smile for me. Gorgeous!

Linda & Jack making their way across a stepping-stone bridge. I had forgotten there's so much "hiking" involved in viewing this beautiful garden, but to me it's all worth it. And my bad knee was working well today . . .
There are many paths around this garden park, but we chose the one closest to the central lake. Beautiful and serene! Azaleas are just finishing up their colorful blooming.
