Looking up at the lanterns & traditional roof that overhangs the sushi bar where we're sitting.


"Pictures" above the beautiful roof tiles appear to be straw-woven mats with painted pictures that usually are wrapped around sake barrels. What a great idea!


Oh yum - my salmon, with a mound of fresh-grated wasabi & fresh ginger.

The lady who works here remembers us from when we've been here before. She loves Stan's hat! We've paid & used the toire (toilet), and it's time to get back on our bikes.
