JAPAN ADVENTURE

Welcome to Margie & Stan's Japan Adventure - our photo blog while living on MCAS Iwakuni in beautiful Yamaguchi Prefecture in Western Japan from 8/2004 to present. My photo above is the famous Kintai Bridge right here in Iwakuni. Be sure to check out Blog Archive (below left) for highlights of our travels. And leave us a comment - we'd love to hear from you! Large red dragonfly on a cedar branch.

Some of the beautiful landscaping here.

Even though the weather is still pretty warm (70s & 60s) the camellias have started blooming here.

I love pink ones!

Look closely (you can click to enlarge) - can you see a green grasshopper?

Looking over at the play area & pavilion as we walk back down the hill. I LOVE this place! It's so beautiful and peaceful.

There are several families playing in the park today.

More roses . . .

We've walked all the way to the bottom now where the restaurant is & we've decided to see if we can get seated for lunch. It's called Chidori Dining. This is the part of the building that faces Hwy 188.

Inside the restaurant. It's much larger than I thought it might be.
