Old boats near the pier.
Lots of ropes with prayer chains around buildings this time of year - always around the same time as our Halloween.
Looking straight through the pagoda from the street side. Looks different without all the booths today. While we were walking around, a nice Japanese man came and handed us a printed brochure and with our very limited Japanese, and his limited English, we found out there would be a parade later this afternoon - yay! We may come back for that . . .
So we decided to take Julie to the nearby beach where we always find seaglass and sea china. She loved it, but we couldn't stay too long in the noonday sun . . .
So then we decided to drive on to beautiful KANMURIYAMA PARK on Hwy 188. There's always something blooming all year around and we haven't been here for a while.
This map shows the design of the park. The further you walk, the more beautiful it becomes!
Of course, my first stop is always the toire' (potty) . . . These buildings look Spanish-style to me.
There I am in a mirror inside the women's bathroom.
I LOVE the tile in here - what a great idea!
