Pretty yard near the flea market. The climbing vines are bright purple morning glories.
And look at this beautiful butterfly!
Driving past another shrine in a quiet neighborhood.
Back out on Hwy 188, and headed back toward Iwakuni. Didn't really buy anything today, but it's always great fun to look - and you never know what treasures await . . .

And "Friend Bags" for carrying around your tiny, furry friend.
But these colorful leashes & harnesses were my favorite! Made me think of Stephanie and Lauren. Do you have these in the US, especially made for bunnies???
There's a McDonald's inside this large store, but we're thinking of somewhere more interesting for lunch.
This traditional restaurant is just before the Fire Station on the right side of Hwy 188 (heading toward Iwakuni) and is one of our favorites. No English menus or anyone speaking English, but we always get a delicious meal and fabulous service.
