Hikari Market & Kudamatsu 8/28/11

Driving on Hwy 188 to Hikari Market on the 4th (and last) Sunday in August. The sky & water are nearly the same color this morning, so the islands look like they're floating.


The highway twists & turns following the seacoast. Not sure what the characters painted in the road say . . .


That boat building is a gym, but it looks like it would be a perfect location for a restaurant . . .


Someone has added planters with flowers along the seawall - what a nice addition!

The local train track is to my left, and beyond the Seto Inland Sea. That's the Oshima Island Bridge ahead.
