Japan Adventure

I took lots of pictures out the window as we twisted & turned along the river. You can still see some morning clouds hanging over the top of the mountains.


Wow - that truck is nearly too big for this highway!

Driving through one of the small villages where everything is SO close to the highway . . . 40 kmph is less than 25 mph and at times, it almost seems too fast on this highway!


A fisherman in the river with VERY fast current - hope he's OK . . .


More beautiful Nishiki River . . .


We've arrived at the very nice Pure Line rest area on Hwy 187 near Nishiki town. We always stop here for a potty stop & refreshments. Not too busy today - it's a Wednesday mid-morning.
