I love these potties with the small sink on the back for washing hands. It's a very easy way to add a small half-bath even in a closet! Of course this one has the fancy electronic seat system as well.


This restaurant has cooling mist for outdoor AC.


Leaving Tsuwano, we drive out of this beautiful little village in the valley of the mountains, up the hill toward the hotel where we stayed. The big yellow building is Tsuwano Sky View Hotel - very comfortable, reasonable & convenient.


The glass wall spans the restaurant in the lower level to the top of the reception area on the main level.


And at the top of the hill, turn left and into the tunnel.


Speed limit is 50 kmph (31 mph) along this nice 2-lane highway. We're still following the river - here it's on our right.


Looking down into the river - another fisherman with a long pole.


Up on the hillside overlooking the highway is a pretty house with bright orange roof & flowers to match.


And here's the open-sided bright orange tunnel.


Temperature sign says it's 29C here - that's only 84.2F - not bad for the middle of the day.
