JAPAN ADVENTURE

Welcome to Margie & Stan's Japan Adventure - our photo blog while living on MCAS Iwakuni in beautiful Yamaguchi Prefecture in Western Japan from 8/2004 to present. My photo above is the famous Kintai Bridge right here in Iwakuni. Be sure to check out Blog Archive (below left) for highlights of our travels. And leave us a comment - we'd love to hear from you! Huge lobby of the Asahi Factory on Shikoku Island.

We made new friends while sitting on a sofa waiting for our tour bus. These ladies spoke some English & the beer made everyone friendlier & less shy!

Attractive info signs in lobby. Asahi Beer is very proud of being green-conscious . . .

Just after 3 PM & we're back on the bus, headed for the Matsuyama Expressway which will deliver us home in another 4-5 hours.

Tunnels - coming & going.

Rice fields surrounding beautiful homes.

Signs, signs, everywhere signs!

Lots of work going on in this marina area.

I wish I had counted the bridges - we crossed a whole series of little islands that led from Shikoku back to Honshu.

Bright flowers in a rest area.
