Japan Adventure

And our patience has paid off - after about 30 minutes of relaxing in the shade in our camp chairs, here comes the parade!


Many colorful, elaborate (and I would assume very HOT!) costumes.






Egrets each raise one of their wings.


Closer view of the egret's head - perched high above the dancer. Must be difficult to keep this balanced & upright!
