Happy Fourth of July 2011 ! ! !

Got an email from friend Sue that she & Bill were watching Twilight Zone marathon on the 4th - so we pulled out our DVD's & watched ours while it was raining, lightening & thundering here all day. By late afternoon, we decided we wanted ribs - a Southern US tradition. Too wet to ride our bikes, so we're waiting for a taxi near the very wet driveway outside our building.


Stan (of course ever the grownup) is pretending to be stabbed with his Samurai sword umbrella as we wait for our taxi.


And we're off in our "No Smoking" taxi. But it smells like our driver put out his cigarette just before he picked us up! Oh, well, Monte Beer restaurant/bar will probably be smoky as well.


And here we are. This cute doormat is outside near where we parked our umbrellas. See - they've been in business since 2010 . . .


Wish Stan would still look at me like that . . .
