Stan called this a "double-barrel" tunnel.
Starting down a long (2 km), fairly steep 4.5% grade.
And this one is a curvy, long (3km) 4.5% grade.
Lots of motorcycles out traveling today.
Comfortable inside our big fancy bus, we're watching a movie, but I don't remember which one . . .
Rich farmland. Not sure what the small pink flowers are though. Maybe for honeybees???
And a wide river.
At a rest stop (we stop every 2 hours) I liked the little fur-lined potty seat for toddlers to sit atop the "big" potty . . .
This is our lunch break & the view from our table is very serene.
Stan's having a beef steak special. This area is famous for beef and for horsemeat. His set was brought sizzling on an iron place still cooking with beef & several different veggies, served with soup, rice, dipping sauce & pickles. I tasted the steak & it was delicious!
