Oops . . . Stan took this of me just before I headed to one of the restrooms (fortunately, there were two!) where I stayed about 30 minutes until the boat stopped. I hadn't been seasick in years, but the boat was going very fast & the sea was quite rough . . .
Stan caught a plume of water as our boat sped along to the dolphin-watching area.
30 minutes later, and I was fine when the boat stopped to watch the dolphins.
A pair - is he smiling at me?
A dolphin jumping - well, just beginning his jump. Of course, the colors were much better when the afternoon sun was behind me, but we kept turning and turning with the dolphins.
And another one jumping! Several jumped all the way up, but I could not catch any with my camera - too fast for me.
Then we heard the whine of a VERY low-flying plane above us.
It was a little scary, because he was VERY low and coming right toward us! Guess he had tourists aboard doing the same thing we were doing . . . ?
Wow - there were so many of them & they were really playing with us!
And there were several other boats around us . . . Our local guide told us that many of these boats were fishing boats in the morning, and dolphin tourists boats in the afternoon. But ours was pretty fancy - I think it was only a tour boat. ITT (our local travel agency) did a GREAT job planning this trip!
