One of the pastry shops on the first floor of this department store.


And everything is made fresh right here! It SMELLS wonderful in here . . . we could smell the heavenly fragrances as we descended the escalator. A bakery chef brushes butter on croissants.


Aha! Here's what we "need" - gelato! (said to be healthier than ice cream)


And look how you can see what the flavors are - fresh fruits, chunks of chocolate, vanilla beans, etc. decorate the top of each flavor!


Stan opted for a small dish with 3 flavors . . .


But it's almost always chocolate for me!

Stan in the lobby. It's time to get back on the bus for our trip back to Iwakuni. We have a LONG bus trip ahead of us, but we stop about every 2 hours.
