JAPAN ADVENTURE

Welcome to Margie & Stan's Japan Adventure - our photo blog while living on MCAS Iwakuni in beautiful Yamaguchi Prefecture in Western Japan from 8/2004 to present. My photo above is the famous Kintai Bridge right here in Iwakuni. Be sure to check out Blog Archive (below left) for highlights of our travels. And leave us a comment - we'd love to hear from you! Packages of very famous beef from this area for sale in the gift shop at the Ropeway Station.

And outside, black cattle are free-range grazing. (Wish beef in America were all raised like this!)

Lady selling hot corn-on-the-cob in the parking lot.

Sign & map for this National Park inside the building. Mt Aso actually consists of 5 peaks, only one of which continuously emits smoke and has occasional eruptions. That's the one we're visiting today.

We're in line for the Ropeway, but we're in Line 2. We're NOT ordinary . . .
