We tried to eat lunch at Sicily Maple City restaurant, but there was an hour's waiting list, so we took this narrow 2-lane road behind it, to see if we could find another way back to Hwy 2. See how it drops off the left side? I don't like roads like this!
Oops - up above is where we want to be, but the road for cars has ended so we have to turn around - yikes! (this is when I usually want to get out & walk . . .)
Still on Hwy 2 almost to Otake. That's a long freight train to our left, and the traffic doesn't seem as heavy now.
On the back of a Japanese car: "Freedom isn't free"
Thoughtful shopping carts lined with "puddle pads" for your doggy. We're going inside Nishimura Joy store to buy grass for Sachi. She likes to have a little salad occasionally. Afterward, we went into the food court at You Me Town for lunch, but no pictures . . .
This bridge is the dividing line from Hiroshima Prefecture back into Yamaguchi Prefecture, as we head back home. There's still a lot of traffic coming from Iwakuni. Think maybe they know something we don't???
