Otake Drive 9/11

Stan's been out of the hospital for nearly a week and he suggested we drive to Otake. Can't keep a good man down long . . . Balloon Godzilla is still roaring at traffic on Hwy 2.


For some reason traffic is REALLY heavy today, so it's taking a lot longer to drive this short drive. I think it's a Japanese holiday weekend . . .


Beautiful blooming shrubs alongside the road. I don't know why I never can remember the name of these! They bloom all over this part of Japan this time of year.
