We arrived at the airport quickly, checked in, checked our luggage, and Frank & Marianne introduced us to the "private lounge" waiting room used by those (of us, today!) who fly Business Class! In return, we told them how we had requested an upgrade to cover the "inconvenience" of delaying a day for our return flight, so they also did. (United did NOT automatically offer this - ONLY if you request - good to know . . .) So hooray - all's well that ends well, and it never hurts to ask, right?
Now, Stan & I are on board our 777, celebrating our Business Class seats for our flight to Osaka! (we sat across the aisle from each other with no other passengers anywhere nearby). Business Class is usually never full on these international flights because it's SOOOO much more expensive to actually purchase a seat. That's our personal flight attendant (waiting to serve us!) behind . . .
Kampai! (Cheers!). Wine is served as soon as we get settled, while I'm studying my menu choices . . . Ah yes, and we have excellent choices!
Lots of leg room here in Business Class . . .
Looking into First (their seats make into beds!)
Looking back through one of the galleys into Economy Plus, where we "usually" sit . . .
