Flying from San Francisco to Osaka 8/19/10

Inside the lobby of the beautiful SFO Airport Hilton hotel United Airlines provided for us (since it was their fault we missed our scheduled Osaka connection the previous day). When I looked at the sign on the inside of our room door, I noticed that this is probably the most expensive room we've EVER stayed in! (Yikes! Glad we're not paying!)

So, instead of flying out Wednesday and arriving Thursday night in Japan, we're flying Thursday, and arriving Friday night. No problem, AND we asked for (and were given) a free upgrade to Business Class for our Osaka flight. So, yay ! ! Look at these magnificent overhead lights in the lobby.

Stan in front of the hotel. It's MUCH cooler here in SFO, which is so nice after such a VERY, VERY hot summer everywhere we went in the US!
