JAPAN ADVENTURE

Welcome to Margie & Stan's Japan Adventure - our photo blog while living on MCAS Iwakuni in beautiful Yamaguchi Prefecture in Western Japan from 8/2004 to present. My photo above is the famous Kintai Bridge right here in Iwakuni. Be sure to check out Blog Archive (below left) for highlights of our travels. And leave us a comment - we'd love to hear from you! This sign says the Kintaikyo Bridge is this way. I believe this means, "Beautiful Kintai." Yes it is.

These small waterfalls in the river make a very pleasing sound. There are some cherries blooming along the opposite side.

The steep walkway leads to the hotel and temple grounds above.

Stan and another fellow traveler waiting for a traffic light.

Stan was interested in what this man was doing across the street, so we stopped to watch.
