JAPAN ADVENTURE

Welcome to Margie & Stan's Japan Adventure - our photo blog while living on MCAS Iwakuni in beautiful Yamaguchi Prefecture in Western Japan from 8/2004 to present. My photo above is the famous Kintai Bridge right here in Iwakuni. Be sure to check out Blog Archive (below left) for highlights of our travels. And leave us a comment - we'd love to hear from you! The line actually moves pretty fast. He's almost there!

Pigeon in a cherry tree. Pigeons are considered as another symbol of peace. I'm fortunate enough to be waiting on a wooden bench.

And only about 15 minutes later, here he comes!

Yum! Japanese flavors are so delicious and made with real, fresh ingredients. My chocolate (of course!) tastes like chocolate chips, and Stan's cherry tastes like fresh sweet cherries. What a nice afternoon snack.

Looking up at two shades of pink cherries against a bright blue sky.
