JAPAN ADVENTURE

Welcome to Margie & Stan's Japan Adventure - our photo blog while living on MCAS Iwakuni in beautiful Yamaguchi Prefecture in Western Japan from 8/2004 to present. My photo above is the famous Kintai Bridge right here in Iwakuni. Be sure to check out Blog Archive (below left) for highlights of our travels. And leave us a comment - we'd love to hear from you! This restaurant has Japanese seating & Western seating.

We both opted for the kaki furai (fried oysters) set. It was as delicious as it looks! And (as always in Japan) cooked fresh while we waited & always worth the wait.

The orange slice has been thoughtfully pre-peeled to make it easier for us to eat.

With full tummies, we walk outside to see the bus station lit up like a fat Christmas tree.

And there's our little car waiting right where we left it.
