Sunday at Miyajima Island

It's mid-December, and the leaves are still beautiful on MCAS Iwakuni.


We're driving out the main gate today to ride the train to Miyajima. Hiroshi has invited us to attend an exhibition of famous Japanese dolls.


It was supposed to be overcast, but the sky is very blue as we drive through downtown Iwakuni to the local train station.
