JAPAN ADVENTURE

Welcome to Margie & Stan's Japan Adventure - our photo blog while living on MCAS Iwakuni in beautiful Yamaguchi Prefecture in Western Japan from 8/2004 to present. My photo above is the famous Kintai Bridge right here in Iwakuni. Be sure to check out Blog Archive (below left) for highlights of our travels. And leave us a comment - we'd love to hear from you! Looking down at a little canal near a public toilet (hooray!).

That's the sign I really want to see -- the wheelchair tells me there's a "Western" potty inside. That's not always the case in just regular restrooms.

See the "little people" potty seat that can be dropped down on top of the regular one? I was thinking about how onvenient this would be for Larry's family, who will have smaller bottoms for several more years to come! Notice the flusher is on the side wall & there's no toilet tissue. We learn to carry our own, especially when we're out in the country.

There was a nice parking lot here near the bathrooms.
