JAPAN ADVENTURE

Welcome to Margie & Stan's Japan Adventure - our photo blog while living on MCAS Iwakuni in beautiful Yamaguchi Prefecture in Western Japan from 8/2004 to present. My photo above is the famous Kintai Bridge right here in Iwakuni. Be sure to check out Blog Archive (below left) for highlights of our travels. And leave us a comment - we'd love to hear from you! I always enjoy the plants section. There are lots of choices & they're always healthy & very reasonably-priced.

The ones with plastic bags around the bottom have already been sold, but not yet picked up, but there are still plenty more available. The plants usually sell out by the end of Sunday, when they're reduced to half-price!

I've moved into the main building now. That's Emilie, looking through all the embroidered satin stuff from China. This is a huge building, and it's just jam-packed with stuff. Most of it we've seen before though, since we've been here for several years, so there's not much that appeals to me this year. Last year (or was it the year before?) we bought a large antique painted trunk, but I didn't see any old pieces this year. And I REALLY don't need any more big stuff . . .
