As you can see here, there is NO way we can keep up with Hiroshi as he continues to dance! This is the woman who owns this establishment. She looks very young, but she's only about 12 years younger than me.
We finally convinced Hiroshi to sing, and he has a beautiful voice! He sang an old Japanese ballad. The sound system in here was amazing. Stan & I also sang, and it made us all sound terrific.
These were the only other patrons here with us, but they made us feel very welcome. It's really a very small place and a little smokey for me, but very nice. The two women were very attentive, and each time we went to the bathroom, we were brought a warm, damp cloth to wipe our hands. Our drinks were never empty, and there were delicious snacks. Since I was the only woman patron here, I had to wonder if this was the modern-day version of the geisha houses of old . . .
We finally convinced Hiroshi we had to head for home, but I think he would have partied longer. We caught the next to the last train back to Iwakuni! We had a great time, and it's always a treat to be with Hiroshi, but we spent most of Sunday recuperating . . .
