Driving along the rocky shoreline. Although the seawall is lower here, we saw lots of areas where the seawalls have been built higher since last year. Blocks the view, but protects homes & streets from storms.

Murozumi Park is where we're going. Hwy 188 takes a sharp right turn here, but we're going left.

Cute steering wheel covers in the automotive department. I was looking for a vanity mirror to hang on the visor on my side of the car, but haven't yet found one anywhere. (How can I see to put on my lipstick?) Guess the Japanese aren't as vain as Americans!

As we drive back toward Iwakuni on Hwy 188, we see fishermen returning from the sea carrying their catch in coolers on a cart.

The chevrons on the other side mean slow down. Arrows on our side, tell us which way to proceed around a curve. We're driving along the sea on Hwy 188 & it looks like the sky is clearing again.

Stan decided he wanted to stop & get a haircut at his favorite Japanese barber today. I think he should chose the style on the top. Cute!
