Couple in traditional summer dress in front of us at the river.
What a gorgeous day! Lots of folks on the bridge & in the water.
We got on our bikes to ride around a bit since we've been sitting for several hours. Actually, the closest potties had long lines so we rode over to Kikko Park. There's one near this pagoda & no line.
Stone torii..
Is that an Easter lily?
The water spray turns off at 5 & it's around 6 PM now. Lots of kids are still playing over in this side of the park.
Oh wonder what's in the baskets? We've biked back to the end of the Kintai Bridge.
The baskets are being carried down the steps toward the river.
Each basket holds a cormorant fishing bird! If you're not familiar with this traditional way of fishing, CLICK HERE TO READ MORE!
Beautiful pine trees & view of the bridge as we continue biking past on the cherry tree side.
