Outside our window, this bird was really struggling to hold on in the strong wind!


A group of little girls who were not at all shy - found Santa!


This was the soup station.


In a separate room, there were lots of children who may have been here on a field trip. Although it was Christmas Eve for us, it was a regular school day in Japan. And the children were excited to see Santa-san!


I love this toaster at the bread station. I've seen this style in hotels before. You put your bread in the top, and it toasts & rides it's way down to the bottom, where it comes out perfectly.
