After circling Hiroshima Port several times (both directions!) we *finally* found the right road that lead us onto the little island near the port where our hotel is located. We're staying at the Hiroshima Grand Prince Hotel for Christmas Eve. I finally saw a shuttle bus with the hotel's name on it, so we followed it over a bridge onto the island, & around & through a little village. And here it is . . .
Flagpoles with hotel behind. We're in the parking lot now.
We're early, but decided to eat before we check in. Look at this gorgeous & huge lobby! The Christmas tree is floating in a pond . . .
And I like the heart-shaped decorations!
These are real live stargazer lilies floating in the water. There are so many of them that my throat is beginning to burn (unfortunately, I'm very sensitive to these beautiful, fragrant flowers!) but aren't they beautiful?
Seeing the seating area set up, I asked if there was going to be a wedding today or tomorrow, but was told no, but it was just always set up for display. Hotels are popular places for weddings in Japan.
